Led Zeppelin To Reunite (Sorta …)

Latest word from the rock wire is that the supergroup, Led Zeppelin, is scheduled to reunite next year for a round of gigs!

Ummmm … well, almost, anyway.

Y’see, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones is gonna be joined by Bonzo’s son, Jason Bonham, for concerts, and …

(ummm … waitaminnit:  Someone’s missin’ here …)

right — frontman Robert Plant has decided not to join ‘em during the tour!

So, does that not make ‘em Led Zeppelin after all?  Nope.  After all, you’ve got Queen still kickin’ it with Paul Rodgers (formerly of Free and Bad Company) – though they’re momentarily on hiatus.  Here’s how it works:  If the band (or one of their working members) holds the rights to their name, then it can continue under that name.  If they don’t (and can’t get the rights), then existing original members can still gig, but as “so-and-so, formerly of Such-and-Such).
So, who’s LZ’s frontman gonna be??  Stay tuned …

WILL HE BE DANCING WITH THE STARS??

Sure looks like it! In fact, Stevie Wonder told an L. A. DJ on Wednesday that, while nothing’s decided yet, he’s talked to producers of TV’s Dancing With The Stars about being on their eighth edition! He told the tune-spinner, “It’d be fun. It’s not impossible, but right now it’s just a thought.”
Hey … don’t doubt the man for a minute, okay? If there’s one thing we’ve learned about Stevland Judkins after all this time is that, whatever he sets his mind to do, he can and WILL DO!
I’m bettin’ that he’d win! What say y’all??

LED ZEPPELIN AT THE O2 ARENA
Now, before we get to this one, be sure to catch the vid on the previous post. The guest on Garry Moore’s old I’ve Got A Secret may surprise you!
Okay … here’s the vid that’s already got over two million hits so far! Wonder who they’re gonna use to pick up Plant’s role in their new gigs?

Okay … that’s it for now … but stay tuned, ’cause there’ll be MORE good stuff added tomorrow!!  So, ’til then …

see ya on the flip side!
