Boy George Goes To Hel … er, Jail; and more …
Hmph … maybe he shoulda sung “Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?” before the judge handed down his sentence …
What we’re talkin’ about here is George O’Dowd (aka “Boy George”), who’s headin’ to lockup for fifteen months after being convicted of falsely imprisoning a male ‘escort’ by handcuffing him to a wall in a London apartment.
Seems the ‘escort’ (c’mon … ya know why I put ‘im in parentheses!) had just finished a … ummm, nude photo shoot for Boy (sorry … let’s call him O’Dowd to keep from insulting Tarzan …) when O’Dowd swung a metal chain at him as he tried to run from his (O’dude’s) apartment! Then he handcuffed him to a wall hook for just under an hour!
I dunno, though … considerin’ it is Boy George (a cross-dressing gay dude with a masochistic side), is puttin’ him in with a bunch of tough, sex-starved hoodlums really punishment in his mind?? His attorney’s already starting an appeal, btw …

BBC Radio Berkshire 95.4 and on BBC Radio Kent (where you can pick it up on 96.7 or 97.6 FM)!

One More Note: Sad news breaking today for L.A. radio fans: The trusted voice of Indie 103.1 said ‘goodbye’ to their channel, marked by the sounds of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way,” as the frequency flipped to a Spanish-language format. I hear the Indie crew will keep it hot and rockin’, though, at indie1031.com.
